Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Sales Ledger Clerk to join a busy and supportive finance team based in Warwick. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales ledger professional looking for flexible, part-time hours.
Please note, the role is currently based in Warwick but will relocate to a new office in Coventry from September, so flexibility to travel to both locations is required.
Key Responsibilities
* Raising and processing sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner
* Managing the sales ledger, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded
* Monitoring customer accounts and maintaining up-to-date records
* Chasing outstanding payments and supporting credit control activities
* Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts
* Investigating and resolving invoice queries and discrepancies
* Assisting with month-end processes related to sales ledger
* Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as required
Person Specification
* Previous experience in a sales ledger or accounts receivable role
* Good understanding of invoicing, cash allocation, and credit control processes
* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
* Competent user of Excel and finance systems
