Job Role
We're seeking an Administrator to join our team and manage all administrative tasks within our Volunteer Mentor Unit. This role includes setting up and maintaining accurate information, supporting the planning and delivery of hub activities, and organising volunteer events. You'll ensure that all arrangements are in place and effectively communicated.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in administrative support and hold a Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics. However, we understand that not everyone meets every single requirement. Key Responsibilities
* Maintain staff rotas and work allocation systems to ensure adequate resourcing and appropriate on-site cover.
* Promote a safe environment for participants, colleagues and visitors by adhering to safeguarding and risk management procedures.
* Comply with company policies and contractual obligations, including health and safety, information security, equality and inclusion, and data protection requirements.
* Support workplace health, safety and security by identifying hazards or unsuitable conditions and acting in line with procedures.
* Conduct accommodation needs assessments, and track, monitor and review progress against individual and service objectives.
* Contribute to the safe and compliant delivery of the Activity Hub by following relevant regulations, policies and contractual requirements.
Skills and Experience
• Level 2 Business Administration / Customer Service or equivalent, desirable
• Level 2 qualification in English, Mathematics required
• Ability to engage individuals who have experienced disadvantage and have complex needs
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• High level of initiative and motivation with the ability to seek out solutions to problems
