Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker
Location: Denmead, Waterlooville
Salary: From £27,580 per year PLUS additional £3,000-£6,000 per year for sleep-ins
Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week working a rolling shift pattern, 7 days on 7 days off
We are looking for a children's support worker to become part of our loving family home, caring for younger children who have sometimes emotional and behavioural difficulties. You would be the person to give encouragement and praise when needed, to be patient and understanding during times of crisis and to inspire them to grow and develop.

What do you need?

Great communication skills, positive, playful and energetic.
Experience in working with children such as children's care or transferable skills such as children's nursery, education, sports or working with vulnerable people is beneficial.
Ability to remain calm during sometimes challenging situations.
Full UK Driving licence is beneficial
You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins
