The SEN teaching assistant role will allow you to work with pupils on either a 1-1 or group basis supporting them socially, emotionally and academically.
This SEN Teaching Assistant role is ideal for those wishing to carve a career in teaching or a psychology discipline.
SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
* Work with students who have additional learning and behavioural needs
* 1:1 and group work
* Support the schools teachers
* Offering a calm learning environment
* Build and develop classroom knowledge and skills
SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:
* Prior SEN / education experience
* Compassionate and patient manner
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work as an individual and part of a team
* Good availability – long-term and short-term roles
* DBS required
