The Role
We're seeking an experienced Senior AV Engineer / Commissioning Engineer to join our London operations, based out of our Fulham office. This is a hands-on role covering the installation, commissioning, and servicing of high-end residential AV and smart home systems across London.
You will lead junior engineers on-site and be responsible for ensuring all systems are installed to the highest standards and fully commissioned for handover to the client.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee residential AV and smart home installations.
Commission and service systems including:
Home cinema
Multi-room AV
Lighting control (e.g., Lutron)
Gate entry and access control
Smart automation (Control4)
Mentor and guide junior engineers on-site.
Install and configure network equipment (WAPs, routers, switches).
Liaise with project managers and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
Attend a fortnightly team meeting at 07:30am at the Fulham office.
Travel to client sites across London (no overnight stays required).
Requirements
Proven experience in residential AV installation and commissioning.
Strong knowledge of Lutron and Control4 systems (programming experience required).
Understanding of networking fundamentals (wired and wireless systems).
Excellent fault-finding and servicing skills.
Strong leadership and communication abilities.
Full, clean UK driver's licence (essential).
Well-organised with a professional and proactive approach.
