I am looking for Academic Staff – Tutors to support looked after children and students with EHCPs on a 1-1 basis with their core and vocational subjects.
Location: Leeds
Pay Rate: GBP20 - GBP30 per hour
Job Type: Temporary Part-Time Flexible

What You’ll Do
- Provide structured, focused support in Maths, English or Functional Skills at KS2‑KS3 level.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs and learning styles of students.
- Deliver engaging lessons to boost academic confidence and exam performance.
- Work closely with learners to identify gaps and set realistic, motivating goals.
What You Need
- Minimum 1 year of experience tutoring or teaching core subjects.
- Experience working with diverse learners, including those with SEN.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Have or be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
Desirable
- PGCE or QTS in a core subject (English, Maths or Science).
- Previous experience supporting students with learning difficulties or SEN needs.
