Job Title: MEP Manager – High-Rise Residential Project
Overview
We are seeking an experienced MEP Manager to join the delivery team on a large high-rise apartment development in Poole. The project is approaching a critical stage, with services installation nearing completion and power-up, commissioning, and testing phases now commencing.
This role will suit a hands-on MEP professional with a strong technical background in building services coordination, commissioning, and handover of major residential or mixed-use projects.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health (MEP) activities on site.

Lead and coordinate commissioning, testing, and energisation of building systems.
*
Work closely with subcontractors to ensure installation quality, compliance, and readiness for handover.
*
Review and manage commissioning plans, test sheets, and O&M documentation.
*
Coordinate with design consultants, main contractor teams, and client representatives.
*
Monitor progress, quality, and performance of MEP works against programme milestones.
*
Identify and resolve technical or interface issues promptly.
*
Ensure all health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained throughout MEP works.
*
Support final inspections, witness testing, and client demonstrations.
Requirements
*
Proven experience as an MEP Manager or Senior Building Services Engineer on large-scale residential or high-rise projects.
*
Strong understanding of commissioning, testing, and handover processes.
*
Ability to interpret and manage technical drawings, specifications, and commissioning schedules.
*
Excellent coordination and communication skills across multi-disciplinary teams.
*
Relevant qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (HNC/HND/Degree).
*
CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications are desirable
