What the role involves:
Design and deliver high-quality Carpentry programmes, combining hands-on practical training with clear, accessible theory
Support learners at all stages of development, building confidence and essential skills
Conduct tutorials and provide guidance to help students achieve their full potential
Complete administrative tasks to ensure smooth course delivery
Contribute to departmental development and the continuous improvement of programmesWhat you’ll bring:
Strong, up-to-date experience in the Construction sector
In-depth Carpentry knowledge with at least a Level 2 vocational qualification
A commitment to supporting learners to achieve their best
Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and engage
A proactive, team-focused approach with a willingness to contribute to departmental growthTeaching experience or qualifications are desirable, but we welcome applications from professionals new to education and will support your development.
