We are committed to compassion, respect, empowerment and partnership. The Brent Talking Therapies service is our focus for this post.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated qualified PWP to join our team. We value excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adaptability, a willingness to work in primary care settings, and enthusiasm for diversity and languages spoken.

* Deliver assessments and interventions face to face, via digital platforms (Teams) or via telephone.
* Deliver psychoeducational workshops and work within the local community, establishing links with voluntary service organisations to promote the service.
* Receive regular clinical supervision and support from a qualified therapist and collaborate with other clinical practitioners within the team.
* Coordinate with CNWL IAPT teams and other Brent mental health teams; contribute to staff development and progression onto higher training.
* Be based at the Brent catchment area with service hubs at Fairfields House (Kingsbury) and Bell House (Willesden Green); work across hubs and in GP surgeries and community settings.
* Operate under an agile working policy, combining remote work and on-site appointments; work full-time with potential evening hours as required.
* Support wellbeing within the team and service; participate in wellbeing initiatives and group activities.

* Assess and support people with common mental health problems in self-management of recovery.
* Conduct patient-centered interviews to identify desired changes and assess risk to self and others.
* Determine suitability of new referrals; refer unsuitable clients to appropriate services or escalate to high intensity therapy as needed.
* Provide information and support for high-volume low-intensity treatments, including guided self-help computerised CBT and information on pharmacological treatments; delivery may be face to face, telephone or other media.
* Educate and involve family members and others in treatment where appropriate.
* Maintain an activity contract regarding client contacts and weekly clinical sessions to manage waiting times and accessibility.
* Attend multidisciplinary meetings related to referrals or clients in treatment; ensure data collection and record-keeping in line with service protocols.
* Keep coherent records of clinical activity and use data to inform clinical decisions.
* Collaborate with team members to maintain stepped care, including step-up and step-down arrangements.
* Assess and integrate work and employment issues into the therapy process where relevant.
