Your NewpanyHays Human Resources are working with a well-established organisation in Huddersfield who require an experienced HR Advisor to provide specialist support during a busy operational period. You will join a collaborative team where you’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards of HR service delivery.
Your New RoleAs the Temporary HR Advisor, you will focus predominantly on employee relations casework. You will work closely with managers to provide expert guidance across a broad range of ER issues and ensurepliance with employment legislation and internal policy.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Managing a varied ER caseload, including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, absence management, conduct, and performance issues
2. Coaching and supporting line managers to handle cases confidently and consistently
3. Preparing documentation, letters, meeting notes, and oue reports
4. Ensuring accurate record-keeping andpliance with internal processes
5. Supporting HR colleagues with day-to-day advisory queries
6. Contributing to policy updates, process improvements, and best practice HR standards
7. Assisting with small HR projects as required during the contract period
What You’ll Need to Succeed
8. Previous experience in an HR Advisor or ER‑focused role
9. Strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation
10. Confidence managing ER cases from start to finish
11. Excellentmunication and coaching skills
12. Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and meet deadlines
13. CIPD Level 5 (desired but not essential)
