Job Description
Our client is a very well respected Chartered Financial Planning firm in Alderley Edge, they are currently recruiting a Senior Paraplanner to provide high quality technical support to the Financial Planner before, during and after Annual Planning Meetings and maintain the client relationship in the interim periods.
Principal Accountabilities / Main Responsibilities
• Management of client relationship between meetings
• Ensure company processes adhered to. Challenge financial planner if required.
• All FP aspects of Voyant client records up to date, well annotated and understood
• Curo kept up to date with any changes that affect the client’s financial plan.
• Responsible for the accuracy of any client-facing systems
1. All meeting prep (including agenda)
2. Attend client meetings
3. Management of client relationship/issues in between meetings
4. Ensure clients’ Financial Plans always ‘make sense’
Knowledge & experience
Ability to demonstrate ownership and independence in previous roles
Ability to manage own workload and prioritise work effectively
First class technical expertise in a range of different areas of advice.
Level 6 qualification desired (Chartered / Certified etc)
Superb technical knowledge of Financial Services products
Have experience of using the Voyant Financial Planning software
Knowledge of financial planning as distinct from financial advice
Skills Ability
To read, digest and assimilate information.
Eye for detail and accuracy
Highly organised, methodical, analytical and disciplined
Solutions, not problems orientated
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain client trust and inspire confidence
Cashflow modelling experience (Voyant preferable)
Systems Experience – Curo, FE Analytics, O&M Pension Profiler, Genovo, Exchange/Assureweb, Defaqto Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
