They are looking for an AIT (assembly, integration and test) Technician for a 3 month contract at their Oxford site, there will be a possibility of a permanent role or extension thereafter. This contract will be inside IR35 and you will need to work via an umbrella company.
You may be required to travel to some of our other locations to support workload punctually.
You will also support aspects relating to quality and stock management, keeping clear and appropriate documentation. You have the ability to meticulously inspect PCB assemblies to ECSS standards.
You have demonstrated expertise in crimping and soldering a variety of connectors, including M80/G125, Micro-D, and Nano-D, for both standard and shielded cables.
You are comfortable using a range of soldering equipment, including soldering irons, PCA heaters, and hot air rework stations.
You understand the practical implications of working in a clean room environment and apply this in your work
