💷 £40 per hour (Umbrella) / £29.89 per hour (PAYE)

We’re supporting a global aerospace organisation on a brand-new requirement within their Wing Airframe Research & Technology function.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly collaborative engineering environment focused on developing next-generation wing technologies. You’ll play a key role in leading, developing and validating Digital Mock-Ups (DMU) across cutting-edge airframe programmes.
The Role
As a DMU Integration Specialist, you will:
* Lead and validate DMUs within the Wing Airframe R&T perimeter
* Ensure real-time DMU data availability for design teams
* Perform DMU quality checks and clash analysis
* Maintain and manage product structure integrity
* Oversee data exchange aligned to export control requirements
* Ensure tools, processes and configuration rules are correctly applied
This role sits at the intersection of design, integration and configuration — ideal for someone who thrives in a technically detailed, stakeholder-facing environment.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong experience with Catia V5 (3D model creation & validation, including systems installation)
* Working knowledge of 3DX / 3DExperience (Catia V6, PDM/VPM, CAD)
* Experience handling PDM/VPM tools and contextual design environments
* Understanding of aircraft build processes and systems
* Knowledge of configuration management principles
* Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced engineering setting
* Strong communication skills
Desirable:
* Exposure to DMUi / SSCI activities
* Composite design awareness
* Familiarity with aerospace configuration processes
