SEN Teacher - 6th FormKingston upon Thames, London£200-£240 per day | ASAP Start
A welcoming and well-resourced specialist setting in Kingston upon Thames is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is a rewarding opportunity to teach a 6th Form class of students with complex needs and PMLD, delivering highly personalised learning in a supportive environment.
The Role
* Lead a small 6th Form class of students with complex needs and PMLD
* Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to EHCP outcomes
* Work closely with a skilled team of support staff and therapists
* Focus on communication, life skills, sensory learning and preparation for adulthood
* Create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
* QTS is essential
* Proven experience supporting students with complex needs and PMLD
* Strong understanding of personalised learning, sensory approaches and communication strategies (e.g. PECS, Makaton, AAC)
* A compassionate, patient and proactive teaching style
* Child and Adult DBS (desirable)
