A small but thriving and highly regarded firm of accountants in Ashford is looking to recruit an Accounts, Outsourcing & Tax Semi-Senior to join its friendly and growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid practice experience who is ready to take on greater responsibility, build their technical knowledge and play a meaningful role in a supportive and professional environment. Working closely with senior members of the team, you will gain exposure to a varied portfolio of clients while developing your skills across accounts, bookkeeping and tax. The Role
* Preparing statutory accounts for a range of owner-managed businesses
* Assisting with personal and corporate tax returns
* Supporting clients with bookkeeping, VAT and outsourced accounting services
* Liaising directly with clients and building strong working relationships
* Assisting senior staff with ad-hoc assignments and client queries
About You
* Ideally AAT qualified (or close to completion)
* Around 3+ years’ experience within an accountancy practice
* Strong grounding in accounts preparation, bookkeeping and tax
* Organised, proactive and keen to take on greater autonomy
* A team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude
