Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (term-time only)

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a warm, inclusive primary setting known for its strong pastoral ethos, purposeful learning culture and commitment to high-quality teaching. In this full-time role, you will take responsibility for a vibrant Year 5 class, delivering a rich and engaging curriculum that builds knowledge, independence and confidence. Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver and assess high-quality learning sequences for Year 5 pupils in line with the KS2 curriculum.
* Create a positive, structured and inspiring classroom environment where all learners feel valued.
* Use effective behaviour management and consistent routines to support focus, engagement and learning.
* Differentiate planning to meet a variety of needs, including SEND and higher-attaining pupils.
* Work collaboratively with the KS2 team to share ideas, develop curriculum continuity and raise standards.
* Build strong relationships with parents, providing regular feedback on progress and wellbeing.
Candidate Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 5.
* Strong classroom management skills and a confident, engaging teaching style.
* Ability to plan creatively, deliver with enthusiasm and maintain high expectations.
* A reflective practitioner who is committed to ongoing professional development.
* Passionate about inclusion, wellbeing and creating a supportive learning experience for all pupils.
