Join the International Recruitment and Partnerships team at the University of York during a period of ambitious global expansion. This fast‑paced, results‑driven environment focuses on delivering international student enrolment growth through high‑impact partnerships. The Global Partnerships Officer will lead on developing and managing a varied portfolio of international partnerships, with a strong focus on delivering enrolment growth and revenue outcomes. The postholder will proactively identify, analyse and convert new partnership opportunities, ensuring a robust pipeline of suitable prospects while driving performance across the existing partnership portfolio.
Key responsibilities
* Lead the development and management of international articulation, progression and teaching partnerships.
* Analyse and convert new partnership opportunities, maintaining a robust pipeline.
* Collaborate closely with academic and professional service colleagues and engage with senior stakeholders.
* Represent the University at key engagements in the UK and overseas.
* Deliver compelling partnership proposals and business cases aligned to institutional targets.
Qualifications & skills
* Proven experience of successfully developing and managing international articulation, progression and teaching partnerships.
* Ability to develop expert knowledge in strategic regions for University partnerships activity.
* Experience of relationship or account management.
* Confidence in engaging with senior academic stakeholders.
* Strong business development skills with the ability to identify and convert new opportunities.
* Willingness and ability to work outside core office hours when required.
* Ability to undertake domestic and international business travel.
