What you'll be doing
Within the Construction environment, manage buying materials, overseeing large projects, ensuring health and safety, and delivering customer service. From the 400 developments across the UK—including projects from scratch on brownfield sites and adaptations of existing buildings such as old factories or disused hospitals—you’ll support the Site Manager in driving Programme, Quality and Cost targets to completion.
Responsibilities
* Support the Site Manager in coordinating trades, direct labour and materials to meet the production programme.
* Work with the Sales Team, ensuring regular Sales/Build meetings are attended, procedures are followed, and show‑home inspections are carried out.
* Take responsibility for duties the Site Manager assigns, including deputising when required.
* Ensure the on‑site Construction team is fully resourced, well‑directed, and supported in communication, training, development and workload management.
* Deliver excellent customer service in line with company guidelines.
Qualifications
* Experience working within established build programmes.
* Assertive management of on‑site teams and trades to ensure delivery of targets.
* Ability to prioritise tasks to meet changing business needs.
* Membership of the Chartered Institute of Builders, or NVQ level in Construction Management, or a qualified tradesman with extensive experience across construction trades.
* In‑depth knowledge of construction trade, Health and Safety, NHBC requirements and Building Regulations.
* Good knowledge and experience of customer‑service issues.
