Lead with Compassion — Shape Lives That Matter
At St Monica Trust, we create communities where older people flourish. As our Social Care Deputy Manager, you'll be at the heart of delivering exceptional care, leading a dedicated team whilst ensuring every resident feels valued, respected and truly cared for.
Why This Role Matters
For over 100 years, we've been committed to enhancing the lives of older people, and this role is central to that mission. You'll help create an environment where our residents don't just receive care — they experience genuine compassion, dignity and the opportunity to thrive in a community built around their individual needs.
What You'll Be Doing
* Leading the management and delivery of outstanding social care that meets CQC regulations whilst putting residents' wellbeing at the centre of everything
* Championing holistic, person-centred approaches to care, acting as a trusted advisor to residents and their families during important conversations
* Overseeing comprehensive assessments, care planning and safeguarding processes that protect and empower the people in our care
* Managing admissions, audits and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance our residents' quality of life
* Developing and inspiring your team through effective people management, creating an environment where everyone can contribute and grow
What You'll Get In Return
Joining St Monica Trust means becoming part of a values-led organisation where people are at the heart of everything we do. Aside from a competitive salary you'll also get:
* A comprehensive benefits package, including generous holiday entitlement and pension contributions
* Opportunities for professional development and ongoing training to help you grow in your leadership journey
* A supportive, community-focused team environment where your work makes a real, meaningful impact on residents' lives and their families
What You'll Bring
* Level 4 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) with a solid foundation in care principles
* Working knowledge and understanding of CQC Regulations, Mental Capacity Act, and best practices in infection control and medication management
* Experience of working with older people, those with disabilities, and/or dementia in a supervisory or management capacity
* Strong IT skills with advanced understanding of Word and email systems to support effective communication
* A commitment to customer service principles and the ability to build meaningful relationships with residents, families and colleagues
Why This Role Is For You
If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of older people and believe that exceptional care comes from leading with both expertise and heart, this role will inspire you. You'll have the opportunity to influence excellence in social care whilst being part of a team that values integrity, compassion and innovation. Your leadership will directly contribute to creating environments where people are included, respected and able to live with dignity.
