Job Title: Procurement Consultant (Construction & Infrastructure) Location: Hybrid (with some travel to Reading area required) Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Security Clearance: Candidates must hold current SC clearance or be willing to obtain it About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Procurement Consultant with a strong background in the construction and infrastructure sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in the drafting and administration of NEC3/4 contracts, working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support the delivery of major projects. Key Responsibilities: Draft and review NEC3/NEC4 contracts, including Terms & Conditions and Scopes of Work Provide commercial and procurement support across all stages of the project lifecycle Engage with stakeholders to ensure procurement strategies align with project goals Support post-contract administration, including change control and contract management Work collaboratively with legal, commercial, and project delivery teams Travel occasionally to project sites in the Reading area Required Skills & Experience: 5–10 years of relevant procurement or commercial experience Strong understanding and practical experience with NEC3/NEC4 contract suites Demonstrated experience in construction and/or infrastructure environments Excellent drafting skills for scopes, contract clauses, and commercial documentation Live SC clearance or the ability and willingness to obtain it Desirable Qualifications: Post-contract administration experience MRICS/MCIPS qualification or working towards it
