Job Description:

About Our Client
We are seeking a Production Planner for a permanent position. The successful candidate will use ERP/MRP systems (D365) to ensure efficient shop floor loading and OTIF customer delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure machines are loaded efficiently, maintaining customer delivery dates.
* Track all live work orders daily.
* Produce weekly/monthly forward loading plans for each machine, including manual operations.
* Ensure parts are moved promptly to the next process.
* Allocate subcontract orders for purchasing timely.
* Issue raw materials promptly.
* Keep BOMs updated with accurate set and cycle times.
* Correctly issue stocks to work orders.
* Implement continuous improvement strategies.
* Ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Identify and resolve production bottlenecks.
* Monitor KPIs and production performance.
* Prioritize workflow to meet monthly order and sales targets.
* Raise purchase requisitions for subcontract operations.
* Complete administrative tasks within D365.
* Coordinate with other departments and handle data requests.
* Adhere to established procedures and participate in training and system updates.
The Successful Applicant
* Proven experience as a Production Planner in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Experience with lean manufacturing and process optimization (desirable).
* Strong problem-solving skills focused on efficiency and quality control.
* Excellent computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); D365 experience is a plus but training will be provided.
* Must be able to commute daily to Westbury and work in-office five days a week.
What's on Offer
* Salary between £35,000 and £37,000 per annum.
