The Small Engine Mechanic/Bench Technician job which is both varied and challenging and sits within a friendly supportive team. Generally, the role includes:
1. Repairing products that have been returned as part of major contract for international retailer/distributor of power tools and lawn-care equipment
2. This will be primaruily pertrol engine powered products e.g. construction equipment such as disc cutters, generators and breakers, and gardening equipment such as mowers, hedge trimmers and chainsawsetc.
3. Testing fault finding and repair to electrically & petrol powered equipment
4. Read and understand repair manuals, schematics, and circuit diagrams.
5. Raising requisitions for replacement components as required.
6. Supporting an international network of approved repair centres.
