Description
Manages the day to day aspect of the Pasta Evangelists Kitchen. Oversees all aspects of the Pasta Evangelists business through creating a culture to be proud of, ensuring compliance with Food, Health and Safety regulations, coaching and supporting, motivating and engaging all employees. Has responsibility for achieving above average results.
Opening hours: from 10.00am to 2.00am from Monday to Sunday.
What you'll do at Pasta Evangelists
* Attend meetings when required.
* Embrace and embed new changes in PE systems and processes.
* Train the new starters according to the company guidelines.
* Coaching and supporting team members in their development.
* Highlight high performing individuals.
* Track team absences and report them to your Area Manager/Deputy Area Manager.
* Ensure compliance with all statutory and company Health, Safety and Food Hygiene regulations, taking corrective actions if required.
* Create a customer‑focused environment.
* Manage and report all customer complaints (including food poisoning and foreign body allegations) in line with company policy.
* Lead from the front, setting a clear example of product quality for all to follow.
* Consistently seek to maximise the products available at all times, increasing sales and customer satisfaction.
* Communicate sales goals clearly, striving to consistently exceed sales targets.
* Train the team on all new products enabling them to drive sales.
* Maximise kitchen profitability by understanding and controlling all kitchen costs (e.g., labour, food).
* Review all daily paperwork to ensure compliance and report to the Area Manager/Deputy Area Manager where necessary.

* Experienced in a fast‑paced kitchen or food retail environment, able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
* Has managed a diverse workforce.
* Customer‑focused and enjoys interacting with customers.
* Proactive in identifying and solving issues.
* Dedicated to product quality, willing to go the extra mile for a strong customer experience.
* Highly detail‑oriented, never cutting corners.

At the same time, we continue to expand our fresh pasta takeaway concept, available on pastaevangelists.com and through major delivery platforms like Deliveroo, UberEats and JustEat. With more than 40 kitchens now operating across the UK – including in Scotland and Wales – we are growing our footprint rapidly and bringing fresh pasta to more customers every day. Our state‑of‑the‑art Pastificio in Acton, West London – the largest in the UK – enables us to produce a wide range of artisanal pasta and sauces, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in this beloved category.
