Team Leader – New Home Opening
Location: Holbeach
Pay: From £14.75 per hour + £70.50 per sleep-in
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (3 shifts + 1 sleep-in)

We're excited to announce the opening of our brand-new residential children's home in Holbeach — and we're looking for a dedicated and passionate Team Leader to be part of this new chapter from day one.
This is a unique opportunity to help shape the culture, standards, and daily life of a home that will make a lasting difference in the lives of young people aged 8–18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
About the Role
As a Team Leader, you'll play a key part in creating a nurturing, safe, and structured environment where our young people can thrive. You'll support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home, lead shifts, and guide care staff to deliver exceptional, consistent care.

Key Responsibilities
* Support the setup and daily operations of a brand-new home.
* Work collaboratively with the team to deliver safe, child-focused care.
* Lead by example during shifts, guiding and supporting care staff.
* Build warm, trusting relationships with young people, empowering them to reach their full potential.
* Maintain clear, accurate records and contribute to care planning and reviews.
* Support the Home Manager in upholding policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
* Engage young people in activities like cycling, swimming, walking, games, and creative pursuits.
* Handle household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and general upkeep.
* Administer medication and respond to emergency situations.
* Represent the home professionally when liaising with families, agencies, and professionals.
What We're Looking For
* At least 1 year of experience in residential childcare (preferred).
* Supervisory or shift-leading experience (preferred).
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
* Emotional resilience, strong leadership, and a calm, confident approach.
* A genuine passion for supporting young people to grow and succeed.
