Love Solving Problems and Getting the Details Spot On? Let’s Talk.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely takes pride in doing things properly. If you notice the small details others miss, enjoy figuring out what’s gone wrong, and get real satisfaction from fixing it — you could be our Clients’ next Test Engineer.
This is a hands-on role in a busy manufacturing environment.
You’ll be part of a team making sure our products are tested, issues are dealt with quickly, and customers get exactly what they’ve been promised — on time, every time.
It’s a mix of problem-solving, teamwork, and just rolling your sleeves up and getting the job done.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing Day to Day:
* Testing our products to make sure they meet quality standards and delivery deadlines.
* Working with Production, Sales, Engineering, Quality, and Customer Services to keep things moving.
* Following test processes and making sure everything complies with regulations and safety standards.
* Hosting customer tests in the factory and making sure everything runs smoothly.
* Reporting any issues that could affect quality, safety, or delivery times.
* Encouraging safe working practices and, with training, helping to train others in testing processes.
* Spotting ways to make things better and supporting root cause/corrective action work.
* Giving feedback into new product introduction (NPI) projects.
What You’ll Bring (Apart from a Great Attitude):
* HNC in engineering OR equivalent hands-on experience.
* Proven electrical testing experience, ideally in manufacturing.
* Able to read and understand design drawings, test procedures, and work instructions.
* Confident in fault-finding and understanding test documentation.
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Knowledge of fault reporting and corrective action processes (RCCA).
* Clear communication skills and a positive, collaborative approach.
* Good time management and able to work both independently and in a team.
* A focus on accuracy and getting things right first time.
A Few Things You Should Know Before You Apply:
* It’s fast-paced — if you prefer a slower, more predictable environment, this probably isn’t for you.
* You’ll be talking to people from different departments daily, so it’s not the role for someone who wants to work in complete isolation.
* The work needs to be accurate. If you’re more of a “that’ll do” person, this won’t be the right fit.
What To Do Next:
If this sounds like you and you can see yourself making a difference here, send us your CV along with a short note on why you’d be a great fit. We’d love to hear from you.
