Agent
Location - Plymouth
My client is looking for an experienced Agent to join a live MOD site to manage the technical compliance of the project to the design specification to fulfil the assigned project (or section) safely, on time and to the required quality.
Key Tasks
- Programming works, commercial performance, and the effective utilisation of resources to meet those programmes.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Take full ownership and accountability for profit and loss in the project, ensuring robust control of
- target costs and actual costs. Including financial forecasts, forecast reviews, final cost & value reviews
- with the commercial team.
- Ensure all labour, plant, materials, and supply chain resources are accurately recorded.
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with the specification.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification (Management qualification / NVQ L3 / HNC / Degree)
- SSSTS/SMSTS
- May be working towards Chartership/Incorporation with IStructE, ICE or other appropriate professional body.
- Prior experience working with reinforced concrete, groundworks and civils is essential
- Familiar with Leica Survey equipment (GPS, Total Station, Optical & digital levels) for Setting Out & Survey
- Able to take the lead with client interfaces and manage project delivery on technical and business aspects of team outputs, including excellent communication and project management, leading and managing technical teams within a competitive business environment.
- Experience in similar role.
- Awareness of commercial processes.
- Familiar with Quality Management System and familiar in writing RAMS.
- Proven people and project management skills.
- Team leader with organisational skills
Desirable
- Experience in Groundworks, Earthworks & Reinforced Concrete
- Nuclear experience
