At Frasers Group Financial Services, we are constantly evolving & transforming, and we now have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Credit Risk Analyst to assess and evaluate the performance of Credit Risk systems and strategies, identifying and maximising opportunities to improve strategy performance, contributing to the delivery of FS goals and objectives.
As a Credit Risk Analyst at FGFS, you will be responsible for:
* Monitoring and developing the Credit Risk strategies and systems, making recommendations to maximise their commercial performance
* Providing effective coaching and mentoring of Analysts, building capabilities to maximise Credit Risk systems and strategies
* Implementing and adhering to all governance, risk and compliance standards, ensuring strategies deliver the best outcomes for customers and the business
* Identifying, building and maintaining key internal and external stakeholder relationships to deliver the agreed commercial performance
Qualifications:
* Experience of working within the retail, financial services sector
* Advanced knowledge in writing and reviewing SQL code to perform data analysis
* Extensive experience of working and delivering in a regulated environment
* Experience coaching and developing the performance of others
* Is delivery and customer focussed
* Ability to plan and prioritise effectively to meet changing priorities and demands
* Excellent communication and engagement skills
* Proven track record in effective facilitation and communication at multiple levels
* Is commercially astute
* Ideally experience of credit risk strategy development and/or fraud strategy
* Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at an appropriate level
* Is analytical, pragmatic and systematic in approach to problem solving
* Ability to manage conflict and knows when to escalate
* IT literate
* Beneficial to have working knowledge of financial standards and guidelines – e.g., FCA, TCF, Data Protection
