Technician
Stonehouse | Up to £13.80 per hour | Until November 2025 (possible extension)
Are you looking for a hands-on technical role where precision really matters?
My client is searching for a Technician to join their busy Quality team on a temporary basis until the end of November 2025 with the possibility of being extended.
You will be working closely with the Engineers to keep critical projects moving, supporting the build and testing of specialist components.
It's a role where attention to detail is everything. If you've worked in metrology, inspection, or a wider quality environment, you'll be able to hit the ground running.
Day-to-day, that means:
* Running and monitoring CMM machines and scanners
* Building fixtures and following clear SOPs to ensure accuracy
* Recording and reporting results, spotting patterns, and helping identify issues
* Reviewing specifications and investigating why parts may fail
What do we need from you:
* Attention to detail
* Follow SOP's
* Enjoyment of hands on work
* Experience working in a quality or metrology environment ideally
What can you expect in return:
* Contract until November 2025 (with potential extension if projects continue)
* Monday to Friday (early finish at 1pm on Fridays!)
* Flexible start times (7-4 or 8-5)
* Up to £13.80 per hour
