The Graduate:
In order to be the successful candidate for this KS2 Academic Coach role, you will hold at least a bachelor’s degree and have the interpersonal skills necessary to build strong bonds with children aged 7-11. You will have a passion for supporting young children in their education and the confidence to share your knowledge with students in lessons. Previous experience of working with children, or in a school setting, would be beneficial to the successful candidate but is not mandatory.
The Role
This position provides a distinct opportunity for a graduate to gain experience of assisting teaching staff with various activities including assisting in the planning of lessons and creating learning materials, providing academic support to KS2 pupils as they progress through the national curriculum and prepare for SATs examinations, and monitoring pupil progress.
