Locum Pharmacist – Diabetes Management Specialist Loughborough | 13 Hours per Week | From £40 per hour (Ltd) We are seeking an experienced and motivated Locum Pharmacist with a special interest in Diabetes Management to join a friendly and supportive GP practice in Loughborough on a part-time locum basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically focused pharmacist who is passionate about improving outcomes for patients living with diabetes within a primary care setting. Key Responsibilities Conduct structured medication reviews for diabetic patients Support optimisation of diabetes therapies in line with current guidelines Provide patient education and lifestyle advice Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and the wider MDT Assist with long-term condition management and prescribing support Identify and support achievement of QOF and local enhanced service targets Requirements GPhC-registered Pharmacist Experience working within GP practice or primary care preferred Strong clinical knowledge in diabetes management Independent Prescriber qualification desirable but not essential Excellent communication and patient care skills Contract Details Locum contract 13 hours per week (flexible working pattern considered) Based within a GP practice in Loughborough Pay negotiable depending on experience, starting from £40 per hour (Ltd) To express interest or request further details, please contact rebecca.hyde@servicecare.org.uk
