Deputy Manager – Children's Residential Care

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our children's residential service supporting young people with complex needs. You will play a key role in ensuring the home delivers high-quality, person-centred care in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Registered Manager in the operational leadership of the home.
* Supervise, mentor, and support residential care staff.
* Oversee the delivery of personalised care plans and therapeutic support.
* Ensure compliance with Ofsted standards, safeguarding protocols, and relevant legislation.
* Contribute to recruitment, training, and performance management.
* Foster positive relationships with families, professionals, and the wider community.
What We're Looking For
* NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People (Level 5 desirable).
* At least 2 years' experience in a residential childcare setting.
* Knowledge of complex needs.
* Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Dedication to promoting independence, dignity, and positive outcomes.
