Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic General Science Teacher to inspire curiosity and a love of learning in students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable). You will deliver engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, helping pupils develop both subject knowledge and critical-thinking skills. Beginning October 2025.
Duties
* Plan, prepare and teach well-structured Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Differentiate activities to meet a range of abilities and learning styles.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable targets.
* Maintain excellent classroom management and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
* Contribute to departmental planning, resources and enrichment activities such as clubs or science fairs.
Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge across all three sciences.
* Recent experience teaching Science at KS3/KS4 (A-level experience an advantage).
* Effective communication and classroom management skills as a General Science Teacher.
* Valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
