Role Overview
Your responsibilities will include:
* Support and manage the full range of HR activities within the employee lifecycle.
* Support and manage the recruitment cycle from requirement to selection and onboarding to meet business needs.
* Provide advice and guidance on Employee Relations issues and people-related matters.
* Handle disciplinary and grievance matters, investigations, and hearings.
* Use HR systems to record time and attendance.
* Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
* Ensure legal compliance and stay updated with company policies and procedures.
* Support employee wellbeing and mental health initiatives.
* Assist the leadership team in maintaining standards and fostering a positive site culture.
* Cover for the HR Manager when required.

Essential Skills
To succeed in this role, you should be people-focused and results-driven, with previous experience as an HR Advisor or in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG environment. You should have a good understanding of Employment Law, the employee lifecycle, and ER case management.
Experience in volume recruitment and interviewing is essential.
You should possess excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to build and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels.
Proficiency in HR systems, databases, and computer skills, including spreadsheets, is required.
You must be self-motivated, eager to learn, and capable of working towards targets and deadlines.
