The Headteacher and Governing Body of St Joseph's Roman Catholic Primary School are seeking an innovative teacher with responsibility for ALN to join the Senior Leadership Team.
St. Joseph's is a thriving, friendly school dedicated to the success of its children. We provide full-time education for approximately 210 pupils aged 4 to 11 years. The school is a Roman Catholic, Voluntary Aided school under the trusteeship of the Archdiocese of Cardiff.
This is a permanent, full-time position starting in September 2025.
We are looking for a candidate who:
1. Is a practicing Catholic or supportive of our Catholic ethos
2. Is willing to actively participate in the life and mission of the school
3. Has experience as a practitioner
4. Can utilize their experience of the ALN bill to support our children and families
5. Has a proven record of delivering high-quality learning for vulnerable pupils and those with additional learning needs
6. Is joyful, positive, and has a good sense of humor
7. Is enthusiastic about learning and eager to make a positive impact
8. Inspires and motivates staff and students, making them feel valued and supported
9. Is an effective communicator who leads by example
10. Will promote and celebrate the achievements of all children
11. Is committed to building on existing relationships with parents, the Parish, the Diocese, the Local Authority, and the wider community, while fostering new connections
This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
