Your new company A family‑run Central London property business is seeking a temporary Property Paralegal to join on a part-time basis (3-4 days per week, around 75% in the office) for a minimum of 3-4 weeks. Due to the urgency of this need, only immediately available candidates will be considered. The company manages a diverse property portfolio and is involved in lease renewals, new lettings, day‑to‑day estate management, and occasional property acquisitions. You will be joining a small, close‑knit team. Your new role You will work closely with the in‑house solicitor to provide hands‑on legal and administrative support across a range of property matters. As part of a lean team, you will handle: Drafting, reviewing, and managing lease documentation Supporting on property transactions, including purchases and sales Managing landlord and tenant queries Organising legal files, contracts, and general office records Responding to queries relating to new property acquisitions Providing general administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations This role offers the opportunity to step into a busy environment and play an essential part in keeping legal and operational processes running efficiently. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need many years' legal experience (5 years as a guideline), primarily in property law. You may come from private practice or an in‑house environment, and will be comfortable working independently within a small team. Key experience includes: Strong background in landlord & tenant matters Experience with leases, renewals, and property transactions Confidence handling a varied workload with minimal supervision Strong organisational skills and attention to detail You will also need excellent timekeeping, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in an office‑based setting.
