Job Advert: Project / Senior Quantity Surveyor – Social Housing Refurbishment\nLocation: London & Home Counties | Hybrid Working | Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Benefits\n\nWe are recruiting on behalf of a Tier 1 Main Contractor with a long-standing reputation for excellence in the social housing refurbishment and maintenance sector. With a robust pipeline of work and multiple projects currently live or in the PCSA stage, they are now seeking a Project to Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to work across a range of impactful projects, including:\n\n * \n\n SHDF (Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund) schemes\n\n * \n\n Retrofit and energy efficiency upgrades\n\n * \n\n Cladding remediation\n\n * \n\n Internal refurbishment and planned maintenance\n\nProjects are primarily located across London and the Home Counties, offering you exposure to high-profile, socially responsible work.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Managing the commercial aspects of refurbishment and maintenance projects\n\n * \n\n Supporting pre-construction activities and PCSA processes\n\n * \n\n Conducting valuations, managing variations, and ensuring cost control\n\n * \n\n Collaborating with delivery teams and stakeholders to ensure commercial success\n\n * \n\n Contributing to ongoing frameworks and long-term client relationships\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the social housing or refurbishment space is highly desirable\n\n * \n\n Knowledge of retrofit, SHDF, or cladding remediation projects is highly desirable\n\n * \n\n Ability to work across multiple projects and manage commercial risks effectively\n\n * \n\n Strong communication and stakeholder management skills\n\n * \n\n Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management\n\nWork Environment\n\n * \n\n Hybrid working model: mix of site-based presence, home working, and occasional office visits (City of London or Hertfordshire)\n\n * \n\n Supportive, well-established team with opportunities for development and progression\n\n * \n\n Projects that make a tangible difference to communities and residents
