We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Peripatetic Woodwind Music Tutor to deliver high-quality, one-to-one and small-group lessons to pupils across schools in Monmouthshire and Torfaen, as well as leading ensembles.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide engaging and motivating woodwind lessons to pupils of varying ages and abilities.
* Prepare students for music exams, auditions, and performances (e.g., ABRSM, Trinity).
* Work collaboratively with Gwent Music to support the service’s musical activities, including ensembles and concerts.
* Write reports and provide feedback to students and parents on progress.
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance and lesson plans.
Person Specification
* Proficient in Woodwind with proven experience teaching students of primary and secondary school age.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with pupils, parents, and staff.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* A relevant music degree or considerable performance experience.
* An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is essential.
