Role: User Researcher
Location: Newcastle
Hybrid Working: Please note - This role will require you to work from our Newcastle, Cobalt Business Park office 3 days per week.

As a User Researcher, you will work with a team of creative and passionate UX Design specialists responsible for creating user-centred designs for digital products and services.
This is a great opportunity to work across multiple clients in various industries. As a member of our close-knit UX and Design team, you will champion the value of User-Centred Design across all products and services as part of delivery best practice.
As a User Researcher, you will:
1. Lead planning, recruiting, and conducting user research sessions to support the design and development of digital client services and projects.
2. Manage the research process from developing user recruitment briefs to conducting sessions remotely or face-to-face, analyzing sessions, report writing, and presenting findings to your team and stakeholders.
3. Align user research activities to influence and support decision-making.
4. Collaborate with product owners and service managers to devise research strategies that generate focused insights.
5. Convert concepts and findings into high-quality stimulus material.
6. Work closely with designers and developers to turn user data into actionable requirements that inform prototype development and product direction.
7. Participate in Agile delivery teams, advocating for users and addressing client issues effectively.
8. Share knowledge and learn new skills within our UX & Design Team to create transformational services.
We Are Looking For Experience In The Following Skills:
1. Relevant experience as a User Researcher.
2. Experience working within an Agile Scrum team.
3. Comfort advocating for users and guiding stakeholders through user-centred design processes.
4. Some familiarity with GDS standards is beneficial.

1. Showcase a portfolio with examples of User Journeys, Personas, User Research, Prototyping, User Testing, and UI Design.
