Bouygues UK has an exciting opportunity available for a Graduate Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Southwest & Wales region.
We are working on a variety of projects across the region and have a strong pipeline ahead of us! We are looking for graduates who are flexible to travel and happy to be based at one of our projects within the Southwest and Wales region. We have projects ranging from Exeter to Carmarthen, with offices in Bristol and Cardiff.

The Role
The Graduate Assistant Quantity Surveyor will learn and develop the skills necessary to support commercial activity in the region.
* You will be enrolled onto our graduate programme – a two-year structured training scheme designed to enhance and develop soft skills and technical capability through a blend of classroom-based learning and on-the-job training.
* We will provide you with the support and mechanisms to build a successful career, including support with chartership.
Key Responsibilities
* Maximise commercial results of the project
* Procure and control the finances of sub-contractors
* Deliver monthly financial reports to forecast net margin and activity utilising the company tools, procedures and rules
* Liaise and collaborate with the construction and design teams in all aspects of contractual activities
What you’ll need
* A 2:1 or above in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or similar)
* A genuine interest in the construction industry
