Hayward Hawk are delighted to be partnering with a well respected client to help recruit for a detail-focused Finance Assistant in Belfast. This is a full time role permanent role working in office. What you'll do Contribute to the monthly financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting Support the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments and maintaining strong client relationships Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including journal entries, accruals. Support the monitoring of daily cash flow and assist with reconciliation of banking transactions Manage supplier interactions, including logging incoming invoices and addressing discrepancies Oversee the end-to-end process of customer billing and debt collection, ensuring resolution of outstanding accounts Coordinate and execute scheduled payment batches in line with company policies Perform ad hoc financial duties and administrative support as directed by the finance leadership team What you'll need 2 years experience in a financial environment Competence with Microsoft Excel and the ability to work with data effectively Confident communicator able to manage both client and supplier interactions Familiarity with financial or ERP software systems Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset Experience dealing with US accounts would be preferable Hear more?
