THE C4 APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME
If you are looking for an opportunity to gain work experience and a qualification, then an apprenticeship at Channel 4 might be for you.
Our Apprenticeships are full-time, with four days per week spent working in a C4 department and one day per week completing the formal learning parts of the apprenticeship. You’ll spend 60% of your working week in your office base and 40% working from home.
The formal training provided will consist of workshops, tutorials, webinars, coaching and in some cases residential boot camps. You can read more about the qualification being offered for this apprenticeship below.

AM I ELIGIBLE TO APPLY?
1. You must be 18 years old or over at the time the scheme starts to apply. There is no upper age limit.

3. You can’t have already completed the qualification being offered or similar at the same or higher level

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The Channel 4 Technology Service Management team, is responsible for ensuring user experience is delivered as expected within current contracts, assisting all users to get more from the technology, identifying and leading areas of service enhancement, and supporting the roll out of new technology with a particular focus on the user experience and benefit to business.
Information Technology Service Management Change Delivery Team sits within Information Technology Service Management and is responsible for delivering necessary changes to our infrastructure, networks and workplace to ensure we have a secure, resilient and modern IT infrastructure.
ITSM - (Information Technology Service Management)
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
5. Support weekly monitoring of project status
6. Ensure projects adhere to set ITSM project management standards
7. Support documentation management and standardisation
8. Support reporting internally to ITSM and to wider stakeholders
9. Facilitate supplier queries on bids, invoices
10. Highlight escalations and issues to Senior Portfolio Manager
11. Support purchase requisitions and raising purchase orders
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

12. Verbal and written communication skills - Verbal - e.g. experience of dealing with customers or working as part of a team. Communication – e.g. writing emails, completing an application form or essay, or if you have a hobby that involves creative writing.
13. Attention to detail - e.g. Cashing up on tills or proofreading coursework.
14. Organisation skills and ability to prioritise tasks - e.g. Planning events whether personal or for professional purposes, as well as managing work life balance, for example working whilst doing coursework/exams.
