Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders on-site.
Responsibilities
* Manage and supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
* Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines.
* Prepare and maintain detailed reports on project progress, including any issues or delays encountered.
* Assist in the preparation of project schedules and budgets, providing input on resource allocation and material requirements.
* Collaborate with electrical teams to integrate electrical systems into construction projects effectively.
* Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all personnel.
* Setting out and surveying duties using total stations and gps.
Requirements
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 45 per week
