Responsibilities
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
* Develop and prepare high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards.
* Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
* Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
* Assist in menu planning, including seasonal specials and new dish creations.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
* Implement cost control measures while maintaining quality in food preparation.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety practices, and culinary techniques.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Passion for cooking with an innovative approach to menu development.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and guests.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
