Sellick Partnership are working with a leading Staffordshire-based education organisation to recruit a driven and detail-focused Financial Accountant. This is a key role within the finance team, with a varied remit covering financial reporting, treasury oversight, and compliance.
About the RoleAs Financial Accountant, you will:
* Lead on financial reporting and statutory accounts preparation
* Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital management
* Manage relationships with key external stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
* Support audit processes and year-end requirements
* Provide insight and analysis to support strategic decision-making
About YouYou will be a CCAB-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) with experience in:
* Statutory reporting and external audit processes
* Treasury or cash flow management
* Balance sheet reconciliations and control
* Compliance with accounting standards and regulatory frameworks
* Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge
* Communicating effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders
