Job Description
* Manage all aspects of sales, from strategic planning to tactical implementation, within the Bangladesh market.
* Develop the current short-term sales strategy to meet annual targets.
* Create a long-term business plan to identify potential opportunities and targets for achieving future objectives.
* Gain a thorough understanding of market dynamics, including customer needs, competitor activities, and product trends.
* Proactively introduce new strategies to enhance market presence and boost sales volume.
* Lead new business development efforts through fiber displacement and technical support initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
* A minimum of 12 years of professional experience in the pulp industry, including at least 5 years in sales.
* Prior experience in hardwood/softwood sales .
* Experience in sea freight logistics would be beneficial.
* A strong network and in-depth understanding of the local pulp industry is preferred.
* Prior experience in production or research within the pulp and paper sector is a plus.
* Exceptional communication skills and experience working in a multinational corporate environment are highly valued.
