Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Daily Rate: £83.85

Are you passionate about working with children and eager to begin a rewarding role in education? Teaching Personnel is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Teaching Assistants in Cardiff primary schools.
About the Role
We have both full-time and part-time positions available. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience, nurture young learners, and take the first step towards a long-term career in education.
Key Responsibilities
Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Assist teachers with classroom activities and daily routines.
Supervise children during break and lunchtimes.
Provide 1:1 and small-group support where needed.
Follow school policies to ensure a safe, structured environment.

Interpersonal skills – friendly, approachable, and a team player.
No formal qualifications are required — this role is ideal for those with a genuine passion for supporting children. Experience working with children (e.g. babysitting, coaching, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS check (child workforce) – we can support with this.
EWC registration (Education Workforce Council).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
