You’ll be paid a salary of up to £27,753 per annum, plus a monthly night shift allowance of £83. What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Coordinate and oversee the night transport operation, ensuring all deliveries and collections run safely and efficiently
* Act as the first point of contact for drivers, handling queries, incidents and route issues professionally
* Monitor and manage compliance with driver hours, tachograph regulations and the Working Time Directive
* Liaise with planning and operational teams to manage changes and resolve service disruptions
* Accurately record transport activity, incidents and performance data for handover and reporting
* Ensure strict adherence to operator licence requirements, health & safety standards and company processes
* Support service levels by proactively identifying risks and escalating issues where required
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Previous experience in a transport environment with a strong knowledge of transport compliance, including drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations
* Confident communicator, comfortable handling driver and stakeholder conversations over the phone
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure
* Competent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office; experience with Transport Management Systems is desirable
* A proactive, customer‑focused mindset with a solutions‑driven approach
