You MUST have experience of working in the Housing Sector.
Previous experience and knowledge of procurement.
* Knowledge/experience of using COINS or similar is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
1. Placement of Material Orders in accordance with budget, specification, and programme constraints whilst also adhering to our group deal requirements wherever possible.
2. The above will include creation of material tender lists, producing enquiry packages, negotiating best price, and comparing returned tenders
3. Liaise with our Group Supply Chain, managing and developing supplier relationships.
4. Review potential gaps in supply chain/risks.
5. Manage preferred and approved supplier lists.
6. KPI review and reporting.
7. Assisting procurement manager in providing supplier package information relevant to other departments, including Group, as and when may be required.
8. Production of buying reports detailing profit/loss against allowance.
9. Procurement Schedule management and upkeep on relevant sites.
10. Obtaining and providing data for sustainability reporting to relevant parties.
11. Carrying out value engineering exercises against specified suppliers
12. Inform procurement manager of any occasions where loss of rebate may occur.
13. Attend hand over meetings for new schemes.
