What the Job Involves The Senior Estates Surveyor is responsible for coordinating and delivering a comprehensive Estates Management Service, managing and developing key assets to optimize the Council's financial returns and safeguard long-term interests. Key duties include property management for a wide range of assets, negotiation of property deals, and representation of the Estates Team in multidisciplinary and legal settings. The role also involves liaising with stakeholders, supporting annual asset valuations, maintaining records, compliance with Council’s policies, and contributing to service planning and improvement. Financial tasks include managing cost centres, engaging with procurement activities, and recognizing opportunities for cost-effective practices.
