HGV Technician
Location: Market Weighton
Day shifts: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:30pm
Salary: GBP 20.00ph : GBP 57,00 OTE
50 : hour week : 10 hours paid at GBP 30.00ph
Overtime paid at GBP 30.00ph
Class 1 licence is desirable but not essential
About your new company
A fleet maintenance company who has been established over 20 years. My client is customer focused and ensures constant training is provided to their ever:growing team. My client is constantly investing in new technologies to ensure they work to the highest standards. Due to their outstanding success, they are now looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join their team.
About your new HGV Technician role
: Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify potential issues.
: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including vehicle inspections, MOT test preparation, brake repairs, and service work.
: Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
: Repair or replace defective parts and components as needed.
: Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
: Collaborate with other team members to enhance overall operational efficiency.
The successful HGV Technician will require
: You will have an in:depth knowledge of HGV and trailers
: Hold an HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but not essential)
: You will have industry recognised qualifications as an HGV Technician (NVQ or City and Guilds level 3).
: You must have detailed experience as an HGV Technician and be familiar with modern commercial vehicles.
